Viability Assessments

Our viability assessments are well-informed and detailed providing the Local Authority sufficient information to sufficient information to place any child in any situation or enable them to commence a full kinship/connected persons assessment based on the detailed viability report.

Parenting Assessment Manual (PAM) model of intervention

The assessments are generally for parents/carers with a level of learning difficulty or specific additional needs. The allocated worker and family support worker spend time with the family within various settings to identify whether any gap in parental capacity is able to be bridged in a time frame.

Single Social work Assessments

In RCSS, we are able to complete spot purchased assessments as well as provide a team of social workers to Local Authorities to undertake bulk assessments. All our reports are person-centred, and quality is assured by experienced social work staff.

Parenting Capacity Assessments

RCSS offers Parenting Capacity Assessments in childcare Court Proceedings within UK and abroad. We have a team of experienced social workers who have worked with various Local Authorities and are willing to engage with families even at short notice.

At the end of the assessments, a detailed and evidenced-based reports are provided by our team of socials workers which help to inform decisions throughout the Court Proceedings.

Age Assessments

At RCSS, we undertake Age Assessments for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children applying “a child-centred and trauma-informed approach”. This is to ensure that the individual is treated age-appropriately and receive the necessary services and support. It also affects the way in which the individual asylum claim is processed including the outcome.

Our team of experienced social workers have good knowledge and understanding of The Merton Age Assessment process. We also delivered detailed, substantiated, and good quality of assessment reports.
